This listing is useful for Chinese who are observing new moon and full moon as well as certain festivals. Many Taoist/Buddhist Chinese observe a vegetarian diet for many years on new/full moon days. I actually started observing vegetarian diet since I was 15 years old on each new/full moon days for many years.   And some would buy fruits and offerings on new/full moon to be placed on the altar in their home.

Note: There is a separate observation dates, also known as Uposatha Days (about 4 days a month) which is mainly observed in countries such as Thailand which you can obtain from this link

How to read the table below: For example the Nine Emperor Gods Festival begins on the first day of the 9th Chinese lunar month. From the table below, the first day falls on 6th October 2021. This information may come handy for some who are observing vegetarian diet for 9 days throughout the festival.
