A friend brought me to try out the food at a restaurant called Farmer’s Street. The restaurant tend to be crowded around lunch time but is not so busy while in between, unless there is a function.
The ambiance is nice and makes a good place to sit and chat. I like its simple set up using more old fashioned kitchen utensils:
Sometimes we need not use extensive decos – the walls are just bricks with cement and not painted over. Followed by wooden crates that are used as racks to put the items.
Their menu consists of Malay, Nyonya, Chinese and Western dishes. Farmer’s Street did post the menu on their Facebook page which you can also go and check out as well.
They have a rich variety of desserts and drinks. The price is reasonable, given the ambiance of the place.
Actually it did take me sometime to decide on what to order. In the end, I opted for the Nasi Lemak Farmer’s Combo with rendang chicken, sotong and egg:
