This listing is useful for Chinese who are observing new moon and full moon as well as certain festivals. Many Taoist/Buddhist Chinese observe a vegetarian diet for many years on new/full moon days. I actually started observing vegetarian diet since I was 15 years old on each new/full moon days for many years. And some would buy fruits and offerings on new/full moon to be placed on the altar in their home.
Note: There is a separate observation dates, also known as Uposatha Days (about 4 days a month) which is mainly observed in countries such as Thailand which you can obtain from this link.
I am not in the midst of preparing a simple Chinese lunar calendar for 2024. Estimated to be available by end of September 2023.
