Chempaka Buddhist Lodge is Buddhist center located in Petaling Jaya. There are community as well as Buddhist activities being organized at the center.
On the road leading to the center is surrounded by breezy tall trees. The nice breezy feelings would make one feel calm and peaceful as one approaches the lodge.
In the past, I have been to the center (even though it has been years ago) when I was part of a committee where talks are organized for reknown Buddhist monks.
There is a sleeping Buddha located at one of the entrance to the center.
From the entrance towards your right side, there would be a statue of the little Buddha and the Guan Yin statue:
As you approach the building, you would be greeted by sounds of wind chimes. I went there during a hot afternoon which was breezy.
You can pay respect to the Guan Yin located inside the building.
Chempaka Buddhist lodge have a rehabitation center especially for stroke patients.

About: Chempaka Stroke Rehabitation Centre, located at Sumangalo Hall of Chempaka Buddhist Lodge was established in January 2010 as a form of community service to serve the needy.
Objectives:
- To create awareness and educate the publc regarding to stroke prevention.
- To serve needy patients with either minimum or no-charge
- To give hope and spiritual support to patients and caregiver along with proper rehabitation programs.
- To subsize and help to reduce the cost of physiotherapy for patients who can’t afford the normal treatment fees.
Aside from that, they also have service for Registration of Marriage. There are detailed guides on what documents to bring and the procedures pasted on their notice board.
