Where to find affordable Thai, Spanish, Japanese, Mandarin, Bahasa language classes in Kuala Lumpur

For those who are looking for affordable language classes, you may make inquiries from YMCA Kuala Lumpur located at 95, Jalan Padang Belia, 50470 Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

They frequently have language classes for beginner and intermediate levels. If you cannot find the classes, you may look to purchase online resource learning as follows:

  • Bahasa Malaysia
  • English
  • Cantonese
  • Mandarin
  • Thai
  • Japanese
  • Spanish

Previously when I have attended the Thai language classes  at Wat Chetawan, I have met some adults who have also attended the classes from YMCA. The difference is that for the classes at Wat Chetawan (taught by Peter) we upfront learn to read and write the Thai consonants and vowels. In YMCA, up to about level 6 it is more of spoken.

Have a nice day

There are pros and cons- if you concentrate solely on writing, you may not be very well versed in conversation at first but by being able to read and pronounce properly (Peter really emphasize on pronounciation) – it takes a longer route but with the foundation we can easily move on to master the speaking and reading on our own.

But as I have received many many inquiries on the Thai language class in Wat Chetawan and I suspect that the class may be too advanced now for beginners to join, if you cannot wait till the next intake in March next year, then you may also check with YMCA Kuala Lumpur if they are holding Thai language classes.
