Where to find Vegetarian Food Supplier

If you are a vegetarian and want to look for a supplier that sells vegetarian food (uncooked) so that you can buy and store in your freezer for cooking,  there’s one located in Petaling Jaya. I’ve featured this supplier in a previous post:

Above are mock fishballs and lamb meat- suitable to be used to cook vegetarian curry.

Above: One of my favourite food- mantao or pao with no filling inside. You would see people eating ‘mantau’ in the old Chinese movies. Mantau is quite expensive and I am tempted to buy a packet of pow flour which I have seen being sold in Bake in Yen.

Another delicious variations, hash browns. Taken out from the freezer and toasted straight in the oven. Cripsy if eaten hot.

Costing me about RM37 (vegetarian are more expensive than eating meat), I bought the following:

• a packet of mantow (6 pcs) about RM3 plus
• a packet mock char siew pao (6 pcs) about RM3 plus
• 2 packets of hash browns (8 pcs in each packet) about RM6plus each
• vegetarian flavouring of better quality (RM6 plus)
• 2 packet of Korean noodles (RM1.30 each)
• vege burger (4 pcs in a packet) about RM4

Alternatively, in Malaysia you can walk into any wet market usually a Chinese seller that sells tofu and fishballs would have vegetarian fishballs and mock meat as well as other ingredients to cook vegetarian meals.
