I have always known that there is a temple on the way up to Genting Highlands but I have no idea that the temple is so beautiful.
How to get to the temple:
1. When you reach Genting Highlands, there is a periodical feeder bus that takes people from the entrance of Highlands hotel to Ching Swee temple. When you reach the hotel lobby of Highlands Hotel, just check with the hotel staff and they will be able to advice you where you can take the bus. The bus comes once every hour, if I am not mistaken.
As you go into the temple, you need to take the elevator to the 13th floor to get to this open area. When I was there, I stayed at a room located on the 12th floor. The rooms are similar to First World Hotel’s rooms. If I am not mistaken, it is about RM200+ per night.
The Buddha statue is huge. At the photo below, you can see the backdrop of Genting Highlands on the upper hills located behind the Buddha statue.
Below: You can walk around- statues showing how’s life is at the heavenly realms and the 18 levels of hell can be viewed. I did not have time to go around there to snap more photos- I plan to visit the temple again in future and snap pictures till my heart’s content 🙂

nice temple…ilike
Dear Ming Hoa- would suggest that you make a booking with First World Hotel as their rates are reasonable. There are free feeder buses and a separate cable car that go down to Ching Swee Temple. The feeder bus would pick up passengers on hourly, if I am not mistaken and the place located in front of the Highland Hotel in Genting. You can check at the hotel lobby staff.
