The Curve at Mutiara Damansara, PJ has taken quite an eloborative approach for this year’s Chinese New Year decorations:
At their Central court, they have the place decorated with laterns (tanglungs) and bamboo. There are stalls set up to sell items from some retailers- I saw bras of all shapes and colours being sold there. Also, wooden benches have been prepared – and I noticed usually the guys and senior folks who are not too excited about walking the whole day and shopping will take the chance to sit down and enjoy the decoration.
Curve does spend a lot of money for their decorations- even their previous Christmas decoration were quite impressive. If you go there during the Saturdays and Sundays, you can visit their craft bazaar:
You just need to walk further from the place you see the CNY decorations. Along the bazaar on the ground and first floors, there are a lot of eating places like Hometown Kopitiam, TGI Fridays, and other Western, Hong Kong, Japanese restaurants. During weekends, a lot of urban folks would have their meals here either with their families or friends.
Well, for me, I would usually prefer to eat at food courts or restaurants located around housing areas because the food’s much cheaper, authentic and more delicious….we usually have our meals first before shopping, hehe. Anyway during weekends, the places to eat especially fast food like McD are very crowded in shopping complex.
