Most flowers sold around Malaysia- from the flower suppliers, stores, markets and florists are sourced from Cameron Highlands. For example, a huge lorry will arrive the the flower supplier in Petaling Street few times a week to delivery boxes and boxes of packed flowers. Cameron Highlands exports flowers, fruits and vegetables to all over the world. Here are some pictures taken inside a tomato farm and green pepper farm: Below are the green pepper or otherwise known in literal Chinese translation “latern-shaped chili”: The green peppers are no longer planted directly on the ground but on individual pots.

We had the chance to visit a chrysanthemum farm while we were at Cameron Highlands. Tringkap gets quieter as it approaches night time. There are houses located alongside with some shophouses.  Locals and foreign workers would go back to their respective homes as night time approaches- and restaurants and stores would start to close one by one.
