Cane exercise (the one from Taiwan) is a very effective exercise that you can practice on your own to help to improve circulation and chronic pain. I myself do it at home when I feel bodily discomfort.
In Penang, there would be a cane exercise demo by Master Yong – the main cane exercise instructor in Malaysia.
- On 2 March 2013 Saturday – at Penang Botanical Garden at 7.30am.
- On 3 March 2013 Sunday at Mengkuang Dam at 7.30am

You can read about the previous cane exercise demo held at Mengkuang Dam. In Mengkuang Dam (update in May 2014 the venue has shifted to Robena Park), weekly get-together to practice cane exercises are taught by Jessie- who had first learned about cane exercise through the cane exercise DVD and had been practicing on her own since 2005. Feeling the benefits of the exercise, she started practicing at Mengkuang Dam and later sharing the exercise with those who are interested to learn.
