Malaysian Institute of Art (MIA), from its Department of Extra Mural Studies located at Jalan Ampang is organising floral arrangement courses (introductory level), Chinese ink painting and Chinese calligraphy.
In the floral arrangement class, participants would learn modern concepts of floral arrangement for home decoration, using recycling products in their design. There are six design in this level and classes will be conducted on Sunday, from 1pm to 3.30pm. Chinese ink painting and Chinese Calligraphy will be conducted on Sunday, from 3pm to 5pm. In this course, students can choose from flora and fauna, and landscape. Prior registration is required and it is on a first-come, first served basis.
I’ve also checked out the MIA website and noted that it offers craft courses such as jewelry making, beading, making plush animals and glass painting courses.
