Nice vegetarian dishes from mixed rice stalls in Malaysia

by Yin on February 8, 2012

If you are a vegetarian, you can sometimes find stalls selling vegetarian food. The Chinese vegetarian mixed rice- white rice consist of mix dishes can be delicious:

You have the mock chicken, taufu with green peas and taugeh:

Then the ladies fingers, mock char siew and stir fried kai lan.

Above, the taufu is with satay sauce.

Usually, you can find these vegetarian stalls in certain food courts found in smaller malls where there are frequent customers who are full time vegetarian. I know there is a vegetarian mix rice at the Ampang Park food court, and you can also find Indian vegetarian dishes easily in Brickfields (around Jalan Tun Sambathan) or in Little India.
